This week is spring break, so I've been planning to take the girls to Grandma and Grandpa at the Beach's house tomorrow. I decided to check the weather forecast, fully expecting to see a seven day forecast of rain and mild temps - pretty typical for this time of year. Instead, I see that there is a severe weather watch for the area. I wouldn't personally categorize it as severe, but we are expecting snow down to 500 feet! That would include my house as well as the coastal range I have to go over to get to the beach. How wild is that?! While I'm sure this won't provide the snow event I've waited all year for, it certainly will make our trip in the minivan more interesting.
By the way, my folks have dial up internet - so I probably won't be posting any updates until I return.

Travel safely and have fun. No skinny dipping in the snowy surf.
I tried putting salad on Kale's burger once too. Not so much success there either. We are raising a generation of non-salad eaters. Little carvivors.
Hey, do you know how to put a slideshow on your blog? I found how to add the element but can't get it to my slide file.
Thanks. Yeah, no skinny dipping here. Now there's an oxymoron! Sorry, I haven't delved into the world of slideshows yet - so I'm afraid I'm of no help there.
We were planning on spending the weekend at the coast too, until we woke up this morning to a blizzard! It's been snowing all day so I don't think we'll be making the trek over the mountains just to spend the weekend in torrential downpores! I'm bummed because I miss the coast terribly. Let me know how your trip was.
